Common Clasps (Image 1): Toggle clasps, crimp beads + crescent clasps.
Crimp Beads + Crescent Clasp: A classic way to secure necklaces. (See Images 3-5 for details).
Crimp Beads: Available in round (I use this) and tubular (Image 7). Tubular ones flatten into squares and work well for minimalist designs.
Crimping: Avoid using regular beads as substitutes; they’re too hard and won’t flatten properly.
For Fishing Line Necklaces (Image 8): Use crimp beads, small clasps, or tubular crimp beads for a sleek, subtle finish.
